Putting on a safe event is our number one priority.

Covid

It’s no secret that this past year has changed the way we see large gatherings. We feel very fortunate that we have gotten to the point where we can throw a large outdoor event — but that being said, there is still a lot we are going to have to do to make sure The Big Do is safe.

In accordance with the CDC and PA Department of Health, we will ask you to wear a mask as you enter the festival, are getting food, or within 6 feet of other people outside of your “group.”

We also ask that you set up your chairs more than 6 feet from other groups.

In addition, we will:

  • Have hand sanitizing stations set up across the festival ground;

  • Be sanitizing the bathrooms and tables every half hour;

  • Have handwashing stations set up near the bathrooms;

  • Enforcing social distancing in high congregation areas, such as near the food trucks.

We have been meeting with a team from LGH to advise us and ensure that anyone who comes to The Big Do can come without any fear of Covid.

Alcohol

We strive to provide a fun all-ages event, and part of that is making sure that any alcohol consumed at The Big Do is done in a safe and responsible way. There will be a 21+ beer garden on the festival grounds. Everyone who enters the beer garden will be carded for entry, and beer bought in the beer garden must be consumed within the beer garden and can not be taken outside of the beer garden.
