We are challenging Lancaster County to plant 5,000 trees.

Trees are critical to life in Lancaster, if we as Lancastrians can prioritize preservation and restoration we will have a profound impact on our county.

Out of the over 1,400 miles of streams in Lancaster, almost half are polluted. The American Lung association ranks our air quality as 27th worst in the country.

Luckily the solution to this enormous problem is rather simple: trees.

We can use trees to make our world measurably better, and 5,000 trees can make the world significantly better.

The Big Do is a celebration of impact, of making the world a better place, of change. 5,000 trees and The Big Do will make the world a measurably better place.
